What was asked?
My friend Michelle asked if I would help her create a website where she could easily upload a gallery to showcase some examples of her photos to share to potential clients. She wanted something that would grab people's attention.
The website should also be a point of contact for people wanting to use her photography services.
What was done?
I developed a modern and elegant website using Drupal, allowing Michelle to login to update the websites content and upload photos to the a gallery page with ease.
The homepage consists of a fullscreen carousel, showing off the quality of the photos and grabbing the attention of people as they enter the website.
The main gallery page uses a masonry layout, which gives a nice tiled affect of photos. The photos are also categorised allowing users to filter down by type of photograph.
What was the result?
The result was a fairly simple and modern website that shows off the talent of my friends photography skills. Giving users examples of past work and a point of contact.
